Intent and Design Choices…

I am trying to create an ensemble that makes someone feel confident, sexy, and empowered while walking through the city of New York. The dress's simplicity and vibrant colors with the dark jacket make a great combination for a late night out. Some qualities I want my design to pose are simplistic yet sexy/ sensual and confident.

I think the extra added fullness in both the back and front cowl in the dress brings out the intent of my design. I also think the uniqueness of the pink crystal beads I used gave characteristics to my design.  The contour at the waist ties in the dress and balances with the jacket since the jacket is more oversized. With my selected design choices, I do believe I carried out the intent of the ensemble.
